Old Toy Appeal "Chain Drive" Pedal Car

A little rough and modified over time, this pedal car has a tractor seat that can be re-positioned.

I think at one time this pedal car had a steering wheel. The wooden bar and pull rope seem to have been added to allow the toy to be pulled by an adult.

The wheels match and look like 1930's wheels, but I do not know the age or maker of this toy. 








If not enjoyed for its nostalgic effect, its parts may be useful in restoring a similar pedal car. It has plenty of charm in its present state, and it might be a candidate for restoration.


I found a similar one on line that had a tractor housing with a steering wheel. It was marked "Ward's Garden Mark."
