Cast Iron Frogs in Your Garden

Found this adorable cast iron garden frog! These heavy frogs were made in the late 1800's to early 1900's. This one has original paint left! Usually the paint has vanished long ago. They welcome a spot among the flowers, in a garden room, or on a shady window sill. Weighs in over 5 pounds!

I have another in brass which is super unusual as most of the Jackson Wagon frogs were cast iron! It is an advertising piece marked "I Croak for Jackson Wagon." The frog was made as an advertising premium for a wagon company in Jackson, Michigan, in the 1880s. Can be found in WRCAM booth PPR.

Above is the third little jumper in booth PPR at River City Antique Mall. This one may be the oldest. He looks like he is ready to leap into the air! Call Woolbright's River City Antique Mall at 920-295-3475 to arrange for purchase and shipment.
