Franklin MacVeagh General Store May Flower Tea Counter Bin

Franklin MacVeagh was Secretary of State under President Taft from 1909 to 1913. At the end of his term, in 1913, he opened a wholesale grocery store in Chicago, Illinois. The store succumbed to the depression in 1932. Here is a lithographed bin that has survived from that era and location.

The hinges are in good condition and the interior would hold a great deal of tea!

The lithograph is very elaborate and a great example of lithographed work from that time.
