This small zippered clutch is most likely a souvenir from the Southwest (c1930's). The clutch is in excellent condition. It is in the Chimayo style with two sets of stripes and a center figure. I believe the center design is a stylized Thunderbird of the Navajo. The original label is intact and the lining is clean and well stitched. It certainly could be used as a purse, but the weaving is so fine that it might also be part of a textile display. The link to purchase is at the bottom of the pictures.
